ATV RiderCourse

Get trained!   go ride!

“Developed by the ATV Safety Institute (ASI), the ATV RiderCourse is an exciting, enlightening outdoor adventure for anyone interested in learning to ride an ATV.”

“The hands-on, half-day ATV RiderCourse is conducted by licensed ASI Instructors. It offers an opportunity to increase their safety knowledge and to practice basic riding skills in a controlled environment under the direct supervision of a licensed Instructor.”

“You bring your own ATV (unless you make prior arrangements) and practice at an approved site. You will learn how to do a proper pre-ride inspection, ride in a variety of conditions, and negotiate obstacles. The course also address protective gear, environmental responsibility, and local laws. Participants receive the ATV  RiderCourse Handbook, which reinforces the safety information and riding techniques covered during the ATV RiderCourse and the Student Completion Card.”

“If you purchased a new ATV, you may be eligible for FREE training. Once training is completed, you may also be eligible to receive a cash incentive. To find out if you are eligible for free training, call ATV Enrollment Express toll-free at 800-887-2887. Those not eligible for free training may take the course for a modest fee.”
